  • Our charges schemes

    Each year we set our charges according to the price limits set by Ofwat at five yearly reviews.

    The last of these was in 2014; prices were set for the period 2015-2020.

    For the year 2017-18 starting 1 April 2017, we published our wholesale charges scheme on 11 January 2017 and our customer charges schemes on 1 February 2017. We also published the following information below that explains how our charges have been assured by our Board and the changes to the charges that will apply from 1 April 2017. 

    From 1 April 2017 the new retail market for business customers comes into operation. As part of this, Wessex Water Services Ltd has announced its intention to transfer its customers to Water2Business Ltd.

    Our Notification of Expected Changes in July 2016 informed stakeholders of expected changes to wholesale access charging structures and their expected impacts for the 2017-18 charging year.

    We also published Indicative wholesale charges for 2017-18 in October 2016. This includes information on primary and non-primary charges, special agreement information and board assurance. We have also published the Standard wholesale charging template showing 2017-18 indicative wholesale charges.
