Striking the balance 2009
Welcome to this year’s Striking the balance, our 13th year of production.
The report follows a similar structure to previous years and is based around the five capitals of our Sustainability Vision. It links environmental issues, corporate social responsibility and overall sustainability.
Each section of the report provides an update on our company position and our progress towards being a sustainable business within that particular capital.
Although Striking the balance includes examples of our sustainability indicators to help identify progress we have made, as in previous years the full set of indicators is contained in our accompanying Sustainability Indicators booklet. This presents a five-year summary of our progress towards sustainability and helps identify the challenges we still face.
