Summer shows
Thanks to everyone who paid a visit to the Wessex Water stand this year at the Bath & West Show and the Dorset County Show.
People took the taste challenge to decide if water was tap or bottled while learning about the environmental impacts and expense of bottled water, which costs on average 141 times more than tap water.
“The majority of people are unable to tell the difference and are surprised at the good quality of tap water,” said PR project co-ordinator Beverley Markham.
We also promoted ways to save water and provided information on how to get a free WaterSave pack.
Our environmental regulation team also made its first appearance at the show to demonstrate the company's wildlife and conservation work.
