Sustainability questionnaires and improvement review

We aim to have a supplier and contractor base dominated by companies that take sustainability seriously. The first stage is to find out what they are currently doing.

Over the last year we have been contacting our existing suppliers to ask them what they are doing to be more sustainable.

As part of our approach to routinely investigating the environmental credentials of potential framework suppliers, we introduced a more comprehensive set of sustainability criteria within our tender process.

Along with the findings of our sustainable procurement review, we will be developing a more comprehensive approach to improving our own in-house approaches to sustainability within the supply chain, and working more closely with our suppliers to improve their performance as well.
