Charges for water and sewerage services are approved by Ofwat and apply for 1 April every year.
Our current charges(other than special agreements) apply throughout the region, except for the areas covered by the Bristol, Sembcorp Bournemouth Water or Cholderton and District water companies.
Ofwat agree a price rise to enable us to maintain and further improve the services we provide and to meet environmental legislation.
To do this, we are investing around £1 billion between 2010 and 2015 which will provide a boost to the local economy. Our investment scheme page explains more about where we are investing in the region. To find out schemes that are taking place near you visit explore your area.
The average household bill will rise from April 2013 to allow us to maintain the excellent services we offer customers.
We understand that any price increase is unwelcome at this time and have a number of schemes to help customers who have difficulty in paying their bills.
How are you charged?
There are two ways we can charge you for water and/or sewerage services: metered or unmetered.
Not in our area?
If you receive your water supply or sewerage services from another water company, they will be happy to give you information about their charges.
Charges that are applicable from 1 April will be published on 1 March once approved by Ofwat.
Further information about charges is also available from our regulator, Ofwat'swebsite.
