Private water supplies and testing

The owners/users of private water supplies including those used for commercial purposes, eg, vegetable washing, caravan and camping sites, hotel or bed and breakfast premises, are required by the regulators to undertake a regular monitoring programme of their supply.

We offer a comprehensive analytical service for potable (drinking) water, covering microbiological (including cryptosporidium), general chemical, metals, organic chemistry and nutrients analysis to meet these requirements.

Additionally, as part of Home Information Packs, mortgage lenders may request a comprehensive analysis of private water supplies to demonstrate compliance with regulations.

Our range of analysis allows the customer to show compliance with all the following and their subsequent updates:

• The Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2000
• Microbiology of Drinking Water 2002
• Private Water Supply Regulations 2009.
