If you have switched to a water meter, you have up to two years to change your mind.

Your option to go back to unmetered charges ends 30 days following the bill at the end of your second year.

To qualify for our Money Back Guarantee you need to keep your meter for the full two years before asking to switch back.

If you want to go back to unmetered charges before the full two years, you’ll have to pay for water and sewerage services used up to that date.

Don’t forget you will not be able to switch back to unmetered charges if:

  • you have had a meter for more than two years
  • you have opted for a meter twice at the same address
  • you have had a meter fitted through our change of occupier initiative.
