  • Paying your bill

    Direct Debit

    The easiest way to pay your bill is by Direct Debit – you can spread your payments over the year.

    Unmetered customers can pay annually, twice yearly or in 10 monthly payments.

    Metered customers can pay monthly on a budget plan or on receipt of the bill. There is no charge or discount.

    To set up a Direct Debit, you will need your address and bank details including the name of your bank/building society along with your account number 
    and sort code.

    It's easy to pay your bill online if you sign up to eBilling – you can also go paperless and view your bills. It’s the easy way to manage your water services account online.

    Sign up/sign in to eBilling

    You can make a debit or credit card payment without registering for eBilling. All you need is your 13 digit payment reference number from your bill and your payment card details.

    Other ways to pay

    We also offer the following options free of charge:

    • online/telephone banking: pay by telephone, TV, PC or remote banking. Quote sort code 40-02-50 and account number 61229737
    • PayPoint: take your bill and payment in cash to your nearest PayPoint outlet
    • bank: take your bill or instalment book with cash or a cheque. Normally no fee is payable at your own bank
    • post office: fill in the payment slip and take it with your bill and payment in cash
    • credit or debit card: ring our automated line 0345 600 1 019 to pay by credit/debit card
    • by post: write your customer reference number on the back of your cheque and post it with the payment slip to: BWBSL, 1 Clevedon Walk, Nailsea, Bristol BS48 1WA. Cheques should be made payable to BWBSL. Do not send cash or post dated cheques.
