    Apprenticeship open evening

    We are hosting an open evening for apprenticeships on Thursday 22nd February at Holdenhurst near Bournemouth.

    Apply now for our 2018 technical apprenticeships

    To apply for any of the 40 positions available in different technical areas in 2018, you'll only need to complete one application form.

    That's because we'll work with you to find the right apprenticeship for you.

    We have the following apprenticeship positions starting in late summer 2018:

    • electrical, mechanical and instrumentation (available as a higher level apprenticeship) - 10 positions
    • utilities (repair & maintenance, mainlaying and reinstatement) - 12 positions
    • civil engineering (higher level apprenticeship only) - 4 positions
    • water operations (water distribution, leakage, production and sewerage and water recycling) - 10 positions
    • construction operatives - 4 positions

    Plus new for 2018:

    • mechanical and electrical - 3 positions
    • computer aided designer - 1 position.

    Depending on which apprenticeship roles you’re interested in you might work anywhere in our region from Bath to Poole, Taunton across to Salisbury. 

    We offer three different levels of apprenticeships:

    • level 2 apprenticeships – the same as five GCSEs A-C
    • level 3 apprenticeships – the same as A levels 
    • higher level apprenticeships – the same as HND/degrees.
