Christmas tree recycling

Christmas tree recycling

12th January 2019

Bath and North East Somerset

Dorothy House Hospice Care receive a late Christmas present from a number of volunteers.

Dorothy House Hospice Care provides care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses in and around the Bath area.

To support the charity in early January, 11 volunteers took to the streets of Bath and the surrounding area to pick up peoples used Christmas trees and drop them off for mulching.

Over 700 people had requested for their tree to be recycled - our volunteers picked up around 250 of these trees on the day.
