Royal visit to village shop in Somerset to mark 25th anniversary of award scheme.

HRH Prince Richard, The Duke of Gloucester, visited a community shop and cafe in Freshford to open The Village Pump. A combined bottle filling and drinking fountain, the Village Pump is designed to reduce the need for single-use plastic bottles and reduce plastic waste. The Village Pump was installed in The Galleries, Freshford as part of the 25th anniversary of Wessex Water’s Watermark scheme.
