Developer services coronavirus update

We’re working hard to keep our developer services up and running while supporting our colleagues with the critical task of supplying water and wastewater services to our community.

Last updated 18 April 2020

We are following the very latest government advice to make sure our customers and our colleagues stay safe. It means that all of our office-based teams at developer services are now working from home.

Our phone lines are still open. If you email us we will respond within our normal target levels of service.

If you send in an application or enquiry via post there may be a delay to our normal response times.
The best way to submit and pay for an application is via our new online service - this will help us to process your application in a timely manner.

We have had to make some changes to our field-based activities. Wherever we can we are adapting the way we work by using technology to avoid our teams coming into close contact with you. Where we do need to attend on site, we are taking measures to ensure that a safe distance is maintained between you and our teams.

Following recent changes to UK Government advice, we are now able to resume the majority of the field based activities that had previously been placed on hold. There may be a small delay whilst we work through the backlog.

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to continue providing our essential services. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your support during this difficult time. The situation is evolving and we will update this page regularly.

If you have any queries in the meantime, please email developer.services@wessexwater.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
