Our charges schemes

We set our charges each year at levels that allow us to keep delivering high levels of service and to continue to improve the local environment.  We also comply with the charging rules set out by our regulator Ofwat, helping to ensure customers are protected

We published our Notification of Expected Charges in July 2019, informing stakeholders of expected changes to wholesale charges for the 2020-21 charging year.

2019-20 charges

The following relates to the year 2019-20 starting 1 April 2019.

Household charges

We published our 2019-20 household charges scheme on 1 February 2019. We have also published our Board assurance statement that explains how our household charges have been assured by our Board. We published our Statement of Changes for the 2019-20 household charges scheme on 11 January 2019. 

Wholesale charges

We published our wholesale charges scheme on 11 January 2019. We also published the following information that explains how our wholesale charges have been assured by our board and the changes to the charges that will apply from 1 April 2019.

We published our Indicative wholesale charges for 2019-20 in October 2018. This includes information on primary and non-primary charges, as well as special agreement information. Alongside this we have also published our board assurance statement, providing additional information on what the board has taken into account when considering the indicative charges. We have also published the Standard wholesale charging template showing 2018-19 indicative wholesale charges.

We published Our Notification of Expected Changes in July 2018 that informs stakeholders of expected changes to wholesale charges for the 2019-20 charging year.

 

Developer charges

We published our 2019-20 developer charging arrangements on 1 February 2019. We have also published our Board assurance statement that explains how developer charges have been assured by our Board.

NAV charges

We published our 2019-20 NAV charges on 1 February 2019. We have also published our Board assurance statement that explains how our NAV charges have been assured by our Board. 

2018-19 charges

The following relates to the year 2018-19 starting 1 April 2018.

Household charges

We published our 2018-19 household charges scheme on 1 February 2018. We have also published our Board assurance statement that explains how our charges have been assured by our Board. We published our Statement of Changes for the 2018-19 household charges scheme on 11 January 2018. 

Wholesale charges

We published our wholesale charges scheme on 11 January 2018. We also published the following information that explains how our charges have been assured by our board and the changes to the charges that will apply from 1 April 2018.

We also published our indicative wholesale charges for 2018-19 in October 2017. This includes information on primary and non-primary charges, special agreement information and board assurance. Alongside this, we have also published the standard wholesale charging template showing 2018-19 indicative wholesale charges.

2017-18 charges

For the year 2017-18 starting 1 April 2017, we published our wholesale charges scheme on 11 January 2017 and our customer charges schemes on 1 February 2017. We also published the following information that explains how our charges have been assured by our board and the changes to the charges that will apply from 1 April 2017.

From 1 April 2017 the new retail market for business customers came into operation. As part of this, Wessex Water Services Ltd announced its intention to transfer its customers to water2Business Ltd. 

Our Notification of Expected Changes in July 2016 informed stakeholders of expected changes to wholesale access charging structures and their expected impacts for the 2017-18 charging year.

We also published Indicative wholesale charges for 2017-18 in October 2016. This included information on primary and non-primary charges, special agreement information and board assurance. We have also published the standard wholesale charging template showing 2017-18 indicative wholesale charges.
