Save water

From providing helpful tips to offering free devices, we want to help you save water where you can.

Our current water resources

The UK has experienced one of its warmest and driest summers on record, resulting in reduced water levels in rivers and reservoirs across the nation.

Recent rain has provided some relief for our water resources following six consecutive months of below average rainfall in our region between March and September 2025. However, it will still take some time and more rain for our reservoirs and groundwater levels to build back up.

Thank you to customers who continue to use water wisely while resources slowly return back to normal. Your efforts are helping to ensure there is enough water to go around for everyone and the environment.
