Who can visit
Education sessions at this site are only suitable for ages eight and above.
Things to do
On a tour of our water recycling centre, you will follow wastewater on the journey it goes through before it is safely released into the environment.
You can also learn about the challenges posed by climate change, how water companies fit into the water cycle, how to prevent blockages, and what we do to protect river health.
Back in the classroom, we can cover how microorganisms help to clean sewage – you can even take a closer look at them under the microscope!
Facilities at the education centre

- Classroom for up to 30 pupils.
- Equipment for investigations.
- Microscope linked to projector screen.
- Toilets.
There is limited parking at the site, so please try to car share, or arrive by coach or minibus.
Pedestrian access is strictly prohibited to ensure the health and safety of visitors.
