  • Paying your bill

    Pay online

    It's easy to pay your bill* and manage your water services account online if you sign up to eBilling – you can also go paperless and view your bills.

    Sign up/sign in to eBilling

    You can make a debit or credit card payment without registering for eBilling. All you need is your 13 digit payment reference number from your bill and your payment card details.

    Pay by debit/credit card

    Direct Debit

    The easiest way to pay your bill* is by Direct Debit. If your property is:

    • unmetered, you can pay annually, twice yearly or in 10 monthly payments
    • metered, you can pay monthly on a budget plan or on receipt of the bill. There is no charge or discount.

    If you currently have a Direct Debit set up with us and would like to update your bank details you can also complete the below form

    To set up a Direct Debit online, you will need to provide:

    • your personal details (name, address, phone number and email address)
    • your bank account details
    • your customer number and schedule number (found at the top of your bill)

    Set up a Direct Debit 

    your bill from Wessex Water will be sent to you by Bristol Wessex Billing Services Ltd (BWBSL), a joint venture company owned by Wessex Water and Bristol Water. This joint arrangement relates to billing and payments only.    

    • Other ways to pay

      We also offer the following options free of charge:

      • credit or debit card  :  pay by credit or debit card on our automated line 0345 600 1 019
      • telephone/internet/mobile banking  : quote sort code 40-02-50 and account number 61229737
      • bank : pay at your bank with cash or cheque*. Normally no fee is payable at your own bank
      • post office : fill in the payment slip and take it with your bill and payment in cash
      • PayPoint : take your bill and payment in cash to your nearest   PayPoint   outlet 
      • by post : write your customer number on the back of your cheque and post it with the payment slip to: BWBSL, 1 Clevedon Walk, Nailsea, Bristol BS48 1WA . Cheques should be made payable to BWBSL. Do not send cash or post dated cheques*.

      * Cheque payments are only accepted where the cheque is issued by a UK bank or building society recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
