Update your account

If you’re moving within our area, you can update your account online or over the phone.


Before you start

You will need the following:

  • your customer number (if known)
  • your old address and the date you move/moved out
  • your new address and the date you move/moved in.

If you have a meter

You can provide meter readings from your new property and the one you're moving out of to ensure your bills are accurate. See our advice on how to find and read your meter.

If you don’t provide them, the last bill for your current property will be based on an estimated reading, and the first bill for your new property will be based on the last reading or estimate from the previous owner.

If you can't read your meter, please contact us and we will send someone to do it for you.
