About the site

Situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, the reservoir lies in the Brendon Hills, West Somerset.

Rolling hills surround the 130 acres of water, which reaches depths of up to 96ft and is well stocked with high-quality trout.

Fishing

The reservoir is stocked with rainbow and brown trout and offers fishing from the bank or a boat.

Exploring

You can either explore the reservoir’s entire five-mile walking route or try the site’s slightly shorter woodland trail.

Wildlife

Surrounded by steep bracken banks and ancient woodland, the reservoir is home to various wildflowers, bat and bird species, and more than 1,000 invertebrate species.
