Hello Lamp Post Water butt competition

Terms and conditions

  1. By entering the prize draw, you will be accepting the following terms and conditions.
  2. Wessex Water Services Limited ("Wessex Water") is the promoter of this prize draw.
  3. All correct entries will be entered into a free prize draw to win one of two water butt. One prize will be drawn for entries via a Chippenham Hello Lamp Post sign and one for entries via a Bridport Hello Lamp Post sign.
  4. The competition is open to Wessex Water customers aged 18 or over only and no more than one entry per household is allowed.
  5. Employees of Wessex Water and their families are not eligible to enter.
  6. No alternative prizes are available.
  7. The decision of Wessex Water's Group Director of Communication and Community is final.
  8. Wessex Water will not enter into correspondence regarding this competition.
  9. Information on the winner (personal information removed) is available on request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Public Relations, Wessex Water, Claverton Down, Bath, BA2 7WW.
  10. Entries close at 11.59pm on 7 April 2024. Late entries will not be accepted.
  11. The winners of the prize draw and therefore the recipients of the prizes accept that the prize is not manufactured by Wessex Water, and is provided by Wessex Water only as a prize.
  12. Wessex Water and any associated group companies will not be liable for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this prize draw or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  13. Wessex Water reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, Wessex Water reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this prize draw without prior notice.
  14. The prize will be delivered via a Wessex Water member of staff to the winner who entered via a Chippenham Hello Lamp Post sign and a local third party to the winner who entered via a Bridport Hello Lamp Post sign. We will share your name and address with the chosen delivery agent to arrange the delivery of the prize.
  15. Wessex Water reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
  16. We will use your personal data to confirm your eligibility to enter the prize draw and for the selection of the winning entries. Your personal information will be used in accordance with Wessex Water's privacy policy.
  17. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, including the seeking of all injunctive or ancillary relief actions.
