Making a booking

Customers should book their activities in advance using our online booking system. If they are unable to access the system online, a booking can be made by telephone via the fishing lodges.

Customers are able to make bookings up to 2 weeks in advance of the planned start date.

If arriving on site without a booking, customers must make a booking using the online booking system and will require their own hardware / device to process this.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking and no booking shall be  confirmed until  full payment has been made.

Confirmation

After making a booking including payment an e-mail confirmation will be sent to the customer including a booking reference and invoice. This shall serve as proof of purchase and the booking reference will be required upon arrival and for inspection throughout the activity.

Failure to provide a valid booking reference may result in a new booking being required or a customer being asked to cease the activity and/or leave site.

Wessex Water (WWSL)  will not hold or reserve activities without a valid booking including full payment.

Communication

Automated emails created by the booking system will be sent from a no-reply account (noreply@wessexwater.co.uk)

For general, non-urgent enquiries please use fishing@wessexwater.co.uk or contact the local fishing lodge direct.

Cancellation / amendment by the customer

Customers may cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the date of the activity using the link provided in the confirmation e-mail, using the customer account function or contacting the lodge. A full refund will then be issued to the card used for payment.

If the original payment was made by cash or cheque, WWSL  can arrange for payment of the refund by BACS or cheque which will be processed as quickly as possible.

For booking amendments or cancellations within 48 hours of the activity customers need to contact the local fishing lodge. If a booking is amended and an additional payment is required, this payment must be made before the amended booking can be confirmed. No refund will be issued for any reductions or cancellations within 48 hours of an activity but customers may rebook the activity for an alternative date.

From the date of the activity, no cancellations or amendments can be made and no refunds will be issued.

Cancellation by Wessex Water Services Ltd

In the unlikely event that WWSL has to cancel a booking any payments will be refunded or an alternative activity / location will be offered. Cancellations will be communicated via e-mail direct to the customer.

Please note WWSL accepts no liability for any accommodation, travel or additional expenses incurred in the event of an activity being cancelled. The customer is advised to seek suitable insurance on confirmation of a booking.
