Things to do
On a visit to Bath’s main water recycling centre, your class will gain an insight into how we treat wastewater and return it safely back into the environment.
They will have the opportunity to tour the site while observing our sewage treatment processes, as well as carrying out their own scientific investigations.
They will also learn about the unusual things that end up in our sewers and the impact climate change has on our services.
Close to the River Avon, Saltford is also the ideal place to learn about local wildlife and habitats.
