Who can visit
Education sessions at this site are only suitable for ages eight and above.
Things to do
Tour the site and discover how we treat millions of litres of water every day, while also learning about the role our reservoir plays in capturing and storing water.
With a range of habitats, walking around the reservoir is a great way to explore wildlife and nature, as well as learning about how organisms adapt to their environments.
Back in the classroom, we can hold a range of interesting STEM activities and geography investigations too!
Facilities at the education centre
- Water treatment centre.
- Classroom for up to 35 pupils.
- Disabled access.
- Equipment for investigations.
- Pond dipping area.
- Reservoir and dam valve tower.
- Toilets (including accessible toilets).
There is limited parking at the site, so please try to car share, or arrive by coach or minibus.
Pedestrian access is strictly prohibited to ensure the health and safety of visitors.
