Learn about how we treat wastewater before it is safely returned to the environment at our Weston-super-Mare education centre.
Who can visit
Education sessions at this site are only suitable for ages eight and above.
Things to do
Take a tour of our water recycling centre, as well as exploring the habitats we manage, including a wetland, reed beds, shingle beaches and rough grassland.
You can also carry out a series of intriguing investigations to find out how materials break down in different ways and impact the environment.
Take part in a range of fun STEM activities too, including learning about the important role microorganisms play in cleaning sewage.

There is limited parking at the site, so please try to car share, or arrive by coach or minibus.
Pedestrian access is strictly prohibited to ensure the health and safety of visitors.
